Business Music Personal Statement

I'm studying for any levels in Music, Music Technology and Business Studies in the Bournemouth and Poole College of Further Education

From the youthful age I developed a desire for music and music technoloy which brought in my experience playing in class and native bands. It is just in the past 2 yrs which i??ng become interested in the industry side of music, and aspire to mix my abilities already acquired in music with business studies in order to further develop my abilities inside a joint degree. I believe the course (music business management) includes all the subjects that we??michael taking and is among the only courses that involves our current A levels.

I'm a keen artist and revel in this side from the An amount Music course. I lately carried out within the Bournemouth Youth Jazz Orchestra in the Royal Albert Hall and will be in this guitar rock band for just two years. I additionally run a folk group which play each week inside my Father??s Bar (Bar Zuka) and i believe that people attract nearly all clients. Furthermore, I particiapate within the College Large Band and play inside a saxophone ensemble.

My composition and arrangement abilities are developing well and based on a great working understanding of Cubase and Sibelius. Academically, Personally i think that i'm maintaining using the music history which my essay writing abilities are enhancing. I'm also experienced in many compositional abilities including Bach Chorales, Figured Bass and Serialism. I'm presently undecided regarding my final choice for A2 Music and can most likely choose composition. I'll however, continue my saxophone studies and then try to acquire a high quality of feat before departing College.

During my business studies course I cope well with balance sheets especially benefit from the marketing facets of the course. Alongside studying 5 days per week, I??m regulary associated with Bar work, also assisting occasionaly with my dad??utes accounts while using abilities that we??ng acquired from training. Around the weekend morning Sometimes 7am-12pm changes in the Co-operative so am accustomed to rising early. I beleive that being active is answer to a sucessful working lifestyle as well as in my free time I exercise by attending gym and boxing periods three occasions per week.

I really hope to complete good enough during my A levels to acquire a place at college and believe that I've the drive and commitment to be successful. I really hope to attain a functional understanding from the record companies to ensure that I'm able to secure a job in this region and would take every chance of labor experience whenever you can. Hopefully my musicianship could be useful in adding to college existence in whatever performance groups may be available.
